Figures in snow

Especially we talk about vague futures
Of men in snow trembling for country .

A steam of tea-words escapes mouths
As meaning escapes from their origin,

All for vague heaven’s perfumed halls
A landscape light with bodiless beings

Meshed with other bodiless existences.
We are vague of why figures in snow

Have to tremble vaguely for tea words
To escape the mouths with meanings,

Why the figures have to escape bodies
For vague halls in bodiless existences.
